...bubbles...

Hello lovelies :)

Period of exams is over, school has begun which means less time than usual (how ironic).
I am pretty happy about the school, I´ve been missing it because there was nothing to do at home as I´ve been at home nearly 2 months and going to Bratislava only to take my exams.
And to add, I´ve spent the last week of my freetime  lying whole week in bed and suffering from flu.
That´s definitely not the ideal way to spend the last week of your "holiday".

Today I am coming up with a post about the so-called caviar manicure.
I am sure you know what it is and you´ve also seen many variants of it. So here is my version :)

Shortly before Christmas, I´ve bought this Bubbles nail art kit by Pupa. Instead of "caviar" they named it bubbles, which I like way better, such a funny name.

Here is the link for the product.

I bought it in colour 005 Grey Bubbles, which even though I like, I regret not buying the colorful one ( 004 Multicolor Bubbles). But I´ve never been a colours-wearing girl so I decided to buy a colour, which I like and I am sure I will use often. Since then, I´d been at one of the Pupa stores but unfortunately the multicolor bubbles were out of stock. Next week I am going for a "shopping trip" so hopefully it will be restocked .

But back to the product ;)

The whole set of nail polish and bubbles comes in an elegant box. The bottles are placed in a plastic holder covered with a lid. This lid is used when applying the bubbles on the nails.

Today I´ve applied the bubbles only on my ring fingers nails, if I had the multicolor one I am sure they would be on every single nail. :D

I´ve began with applying the first coat of nail polish, waited  approximately 5 minutes and painted on the second coat leaving out my ring fingers. The nail polish is very pigmented so there´s no need to apply second coat on the nails  you aren´t putting bubbles on, but I like it better to have two coats of nail polish. Again waited for a few minutes and put a second layer on one of my ring fingers. It is important to work on one nails at a time! Then after a few seconds as it has set, I´ve put on the bubbles richly. Let the excess bubbles fall off back to the lid and pressed the bubbles on my nails gently. It is not written to add a top coat onto the bubbles in the instructions, but the first time I tried it without top coat I was quite pissed off that after every activity I´ve lost a huge amount of bubbles, so this time I´ve secured and fixed them with a top coat from Essence. I´ve applied it richly and waited few minutes and pressed the bubbles.
So what´s left is the final effect:

I liiike it :) hope You too!

See you next time,

Carina...
